Additional Charges

The following items require an additional charge.
• Mixed loads (loads not 100% of the same product)
• Car Tyres – any size are $30 each
• Mattress – any size are $30 each
• Over weight bins will incur extra tip fees and Vic roads overweight fines.

Monday to Friday: 6.30am to 5.00pm
Saturday: 6.30am to 1.00pm

What can and can’t go in a rubbish bin or skip

We hire our bins and skip specifically for cartage directly to recycling facilities, to achieve our Zero Waste target we require that all skips and bins are filled with 100% of the same product.
Soil, bricks, all concrete products, metal, paper, cardboard, plastic, plaster, green waste, timber, roof tiles are some of the products we recycle.
We have safe load limits on bins.

At Zero Waste we pride ourselves on recycling waste. Our aim is to recycle all products we collect. When you order a rubbish bin or skip we hire to you in Melbourne, you should know that not only are bins and Skips “green” but the company thinks “green” also.
We use recycling sites and transfer stations based all across the Melbourne metropolitan area, all rubbish bins and skip waste is processed, grouped and recycled where possible. By using many sites this also reduces fuel usage, this is another way we are helping the environment.

Other services we offer

We hire skips for general mixed waste, our Zero waste ethics still apply, though the recycle rate can be as low as 65% depending on the product collected.
